Counsellor/Psychotherapist

I am passionate about counselling and strongly believe that everyone, regardless of age, gender, race or situation, would benefit from having someone to listen to them and to help them make sense of what is going on in their life.

As well as seeing private clients, I have worked on the island for a Southampton based domestic/sexual abuse organisation and also for two local counselling services supporting children and young people. Seeing clients within their service setting and in school.

I trained in a person-centred approach, which was developed by the humanist psychologist Carl Rogers in the 1950's. Through my training and counselling experience, I have learnt that sometimes we just need help to work out what is blocking us from making the right choices, or to help us to understand why we are feeling stuck and unable to move on in our lives.

I am a registered member of the BACP. I hold full public liability insurance.
