Can Counselling Help?
We all know that life can be hard and there are times when situations you are facing leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, isolated, frightened or confused. It can often be difficult to talk about the problems or feelings you are experiencing with people close to you for fear of upsetting them, or feeling judged. Having a place to talk to someone trained to really listen and fully understand what you are saying, can help you to make sense of the problems you are struggling with. Counselling can help you to think more clearly, resolve problems and bring about change or acceptance to the areas in your life where you are experiencing difficulties.
What to expect
Counselling sessions are 50 minutes long, usually at the same time each week. I work on either a short-term, or long-term basis depending on your needs. I fully appreciate that counselling can be daunting if you are not sure what to expect. The first session is used to assess your needs and for you to decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.
Private Individual Counselling: £45 per 50 minute session.
